Scott has broad experience of airline and airport operations, together with proven communication, negotiation and strategic thinking abilities. Scott is a subject matter expert in the field of airline and airport resource planning with well-developed man management and project planning skills. He has a detailed knowledge of aviation regulations, Flight Time Limitations (inc FRMS), DFT security requirements, and airline/airport planning systems. He has experience in implementing airline planning techniques into airport environments, process engineering in the field of airport and airline operations planning, and negotiating regulatory and industrial change.
Since July 2009, Scott has been working with CHC Helicopters, overseeing European Planning and Operations (Oil and Gas). He has project managed the integration of the operations control centre, and is currently working on the implementation of pilot scheduling agreements.

Scott was the project manager for Active Fatigue Monitoring and implementing the ‘5452’ aircrew roster pattern leading to reduced fatigue related risk, increased crew productivity, and reduced insurance premiums. Scott also developed a comprehensive reporting package of safety related analysis for easyJet management and the Civil Aviation Authority.
BAA plc Resource Scheduling Lead for South East Airports - 2006 to 2007
Scott was responsible for operations planning for Heathrow’s new Terminal 5. He also led a team of analysts responsible for effective planning of the Airline Relocation Programme, the co-locating of airlines by alliance, and the development of the Heathrow East project. He was initially employed as an internal consultant, responsible for applying best practise planning techniques across BAA’s London airports. He led and organised a series of projects including a new staff recruitment and demand forecasting methodology, flexible rostering and active fatigue management; a system designed to improve staff performance by offering greater work pattern options. In 2007, his role became Heathrow specific and set about reviewing and introducing a new resourcing strategy using major infrastructure projects as an opportunity to implement new ways of working.

As a sernior consultant at aviation consultancy SH&E, Scott specialised in airline operations and in-particular operations safety, crew resource planning, and fatigue risk management. He published a book on crew resource planning for IATA and led a major project for TAAG Angola to recertify the airline, and prepare the carrier for return to Europe. Scott's assignments included:
