Directors & Principal Consultants
Invenzyme was founded by
Jim Paton, a consultant with deep knowledge of the low cost airline business model and an expert in crew resource planning. Jim previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior consultant and was a senior executive at easyJet from 2001-2006. He holds an MBA from Stanford University, and is a certified LEGO SERIOUS PLAY facilitator, as well as a fluent French-speaker. As of January 2010 Jim has joined the senior management team of Spanair and oversees Invenzyme's activities in a non-executive capacity.
Scott Derbyshire joined Invenzyme from aviation consulting firm SH&E, where he was a senior manager. Scott has broad airline operations experience, having formerly worked in crew planning/operations at Qantas and easyJet. He also headed up resource planning for BAA at Heathrow, and has consulted with a variety of airlines in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Dr Jim Paton Snr acts as Company Secretary and is a Principal Consultant. He has extensive experience in the areas of marketing management, operations management, change management, business strategy and business development, along with detailed knowledge of the petrochemicals industry. Jim Snr currently also lectures in business studies at the Business & Management University in Geneva, Switzerland.
